Sadie

Shadow is the white American Eskimo and Sadie is the mixed Pit / Lab.
Shadow was 4 years old when he met Sadie for the first time and she was around 2. I have had Shadow since he was 7 weeks old. He's my baby. I trained him and socialised him with humans, but not with other animals. He tends to be aggressive when any canine is around or any other type animal. He makes alot of wolf snarls and looks fierce. He will not back down from any animal.

I had not planned on falling in love, but it happened and Bill owned Sadie. He had adopted Sadie from the SPCA so he really had no idea of her history. She had some very bad habits, but she was a sweet girl. Needless to say Shadow and Sadie's first meetings were not nice so we kept them apart.

When we decided to make our relationship permanent we worried about our problem with our pets. Some people said they would never be friends, but as you can see in the picture above they are finally at peace with each other, they are finally canine friends. Shadow will be 8 years old this year and Sadie 6. The 1st year was tough, but they did finally adjust. We still have a few run-ins, but they are quickly over now. All I can say is Love will always find a way....Jude

Likewise, one female dog and her offspring will produce 67,000 puppies during a six year period. Since there are more animals looking for homes than there are people who want to adopt them, some 6.5 million animals are euthanized each year.

I now have a stray cat that adopted me,but he lives under the house next door.
He pops around to be fed and petted, but only when Shadow is not out.
Shadow thinks the cat is his and is determined to catch him someday.
Can't say that I know much about cats..
However I did find out that they respond to love and patience the same as all creatures.
I call him Stalker because he does just that whenever I go out.

Isn't he a beaut? Look at those eyes.....sooooo intelligent !
